I'm trying to get some physical dimensions to see if I can swap a chevy 6 into another vehicle that has limited room. Googling has given me some conflicting results, such as "235s are longer than 216s", and "the blocks are all the same size", but I can't find any actual numbers for length, width, height. Length from the back of the block to the front of the crankshaft pulley is probably the critical one for me. Can anyone point me to a reference, or go out in the garage and measure one for me? Thanks.
