I paid $2,200 (way too much) for a truck that was 20 times better than that one and I still had to put hundreds of hours and $ into parts. I wish I had started out with a better truck, I would have saved a bundle. Though I can weld and work a dolly/hammer pretty well now.
If I had it to do over, it would have been more fun to start with a real good runner rather than waiting 5 years, excuse me, 6 years for a show truck. Though I was after a very specific looking truck.
