I have looked under the rubber mat and in the door pockets. It all looks solid with just surface rust. The door hinge area as well.
I'll check the cab mounts next time I drive by.
I, too, want something to learn on, so I figured this would be a good candidate.
In the meantime I have been looking around at the options. For my price range, this one has stood out so far.
Still looking for that "gem in a barn", tho.
