The 58-62 truck engines are pretty much the same. The car engines with powerglide have hydraulic valve lifters. Most cars had the 848 head which gives a little more compression. Somewhere in there the boss on the side of the block for the throttle bell crank was in a different location. I ran into that many years ago. They say money can't buy happiness.
