Now for the real work.

I need your input.

1. I thought the 235 engine mounts were the same distance back from the front of the block? They look not to be. Are my glasses crooked?

2. Does anyone know if the 420 came with a 3" longer rear yoke? A longer output yoke would make things easier.

3. Advice? I was thinking it would be easiest to remove the '79s rear support & cut the firewall to slide everything back to the driveline then fabricate bell-housing+engine mounts and make a housing to cover the firewall hole. Anyone try something like this?
