Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | This set up drove well and was used on Chevy cars up through 64, Corvettes up to 1980 or so, Mustangs through 1970, and even later on some 4wd's and industrial equipment. One drawback was the exposed hoses but if routed well and not driven in the bush they held up. With more exposed fittings they did tend to have more leaking problems than the integral units. The tie rod length isn't critical since the cylinder can be attached at any point but the drag link, which has the control valve, length and angle is important.
