I installed one on my 56 a few years ago as that was all that was available. I found it at a swap meet for a good price so I thought I would try it out. It performed well at low speeds and for parking but was kind of spooky on the road. You don't get a good feeling for the road. I had a good front end, tires, king pins, etc. I changed the pump pressure and rebilt the control valve and still didn't like it. I have since installed a Toyota box and it works great. The CPP unit is quite pricy also. Give me a call, I'm in OC.
