Although I can't see the entire side, it looks to me to be the "Canadian" version of the 216 with the short side cover. That motor was made from 1950 to 52 and is different from all the other years. That is the one I have in my truck and it gives me great service.
Thanks for the info Nix! I am really getting itchy to pull it out of the barn and get started on it. One more winter's sleep and I can get rolling.
