Thanks to everyone for your input. I ended up buying my wiper motor from JimCarter after I found out it WAS/IS a Newport Engineering wiper motor.
While I have not but the power to it yet I just want to say what a nice, heavy, well made wiper motor this is. I was pleasantly surprised and it bolted right in. The switch is OK but I may adapt an original maroon knob to it. Comes with good instructions and diagrams.
The best part is with our Stovebolt Discount I purchased it from JCarter for less than I could have gotten it straight from Newport.
***Just remember, there are two part #'s for the wiper. One is made especially to make sure it does not interfer with the choke cable. Simply put.....I like it AND its made right here in the USA. | | |
