britcon hit the nail on the head but in my opinion unless your running buckets it may be a little more of a challenge to put the hand brakes in it.

Here are my plans... I left the original rear end under my 52panel but I changed the torque tube out for a pumpkin from a later 50's model truck. So, I still have the cross rod going through each side of my chassis that the E-cables hook to. On this cross rod, just about in the center, is a tab to hook a cable to . I can run it almost right up the middle (though a support eye, and to a hand brake that I'm putting beside the drivers bucket seat.
Just TODAY a friend of mine is junking out a Colt and told me I could have the center brake handle and anything else I wanted. Just comoe take it out... .and the console is already out of it!!

Hope this gives you some hope and ideas. We have to stop!!

I understand your dilema as my drivers side was so rotted away. I have pics and some measurement and a couple models close by to look at but the and brake system like in teh honda, Nissan, Colt ect sure are neat.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
