Apprentice as I am (at time of post) I simply don't have a clue if there was a factory option for Suburbans that gave you fabric door panel inserts all the way down to the cargo doors.
The raised rib surrounding the door panel insert area lines up just perfectly with the raised rib down the side of the Burb (or panel van) as can be seen on this
picture.
The thing is that I think it will look like a option that could have been available from Chevy. I just love when people scratch there head asking them self and say "never seen that option".
As for the access panels, well even if they might be useful for for some moonlight activities there even more useful when you poor lots of oil down those side panels to prevent rust. Since I live in United Rustdom, in Rustex I intened to poor a few gallons down there

PS: Hmm don't think a good clip thin and springy would raise the fabric at all. Rather so that it's a lot cheaper to glue. No holes to drill, no logistic etc.. just slap it on..
