My uncle had a frieght company and each truck had dual tanks. He told me if it ever starts to die, meaning run out of gas, while driving, switch the tanks as quick as possible or you won't be able to switch them without adding gas to the empty tank. I think the valve hangs up with fluid on one side and air on the other. Don't know for sure, but this urban legend is true,
