I've floored it in 1st gear (in an SM420, no less), without breaking anything. In first gear, the SM420 is capable of applying at least 1200 ft-lbs to the driveshaft and I haven't heard of any of them breaking. Paint & Body Shop moderator A lone amateur built the Ark.
