| | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | If you have a metal strip you can use it as a reference guide for how deep to cut the groove.... .and use a piece of scrap to see how far in to cut the groove....but remember, on most trucks there is a groove between the boards where a bolt goes up between the boards and through the metal strip......
