To me, it sounds like a fuel issue.
Check your tank, and makes sure there's no crap in your sediment bulb. Try a new filter element while you're at it.
If any crap got past the filter element, your carb might be plugged up. This is a long shot, admittedly, but it's worth a peek if you've exhausted all other options.
My money's on the gas tank or the filter.
