jerry , my 52 with a 235 in it drove me crazy with some stop running habits,, for a while I just ignore it because the truck would always start back up but die when ever it wanted to.. finally got real bad so I had to get serious to find the problem, mine would die on the hiway at hiway speeds.. I could turn of the key, turn it back on it would resume running,,
anyhow........the problem was in my MALLORY ELECTRONIC MODULE I have the no points one.. I replaced it and no more problem,, not saying this is your problem but..........I had checked mine module out before like they stated and I found it to be ok but it wasn't............this may not help you but mine use to do some crazy stuff and now it is fixed..........mine use to stall often or in a few blocks after start up, just stopped running, use to stall when I would shift gears, usually into second, use to stall when I would acclerate hard between shifts,,, all kinds of weird stuff that seem to be fuel related........it wasn't though,, just something acted up in the electronic module.. sorry to ramble one... but I am glad I found my problem.........good luck
