Jerry, From what I have for info, the 292 was started in the 63' models. If the numbers you're giving me are the 6 digits at the end of your VIN, those are the unit number, with every year beginning with the number 100.001.
example...1=year
C=chassiswith C=2wd K=4wd
series= 14, 15, or 25 1/2 ton short bed
1/2 ton longbed
3/4 ton longbed
4=truck type
F= plant 11 locations available F=Flint
last 6 digits denotes unit number.
