the1962 chev trucks only had two six cylinders listed in the 62
manual {thriftmaster 235 cu. in} AND [jobmaster 261 cu. in]
the 63 lists a 292 cu. in. but your serial number suggests that you unit was made about half way through the production run, so it's highly unlikely you have the original engine.
