K10 states " there is no way that a 1/2 ton pickup in 1963 ever had a 292 in it from the factory " I bought a 63 1/2 ton Suburban from the original owner in 2005. It had the original 292 that was installed at the factory. The owner said he paid a little extra to get the 292 instead of the 230. If it's a 292 it will have the staggered motor mounts. He also ordered it without the third seat and the front side windows are sliders but the 2 rear side windows are stationary. I thought that was kind of interesting.
