yes, those sae papers did negate all of chevrolet's data prior to 1975. what you really need is a wheelborrow.
although the sae papers don't agree with me, the inline six has more low end torque per cubic inch. if that's what you want the 292 will be best choice. if you want absolute torque, well, go with a larger engine. maybe we shouldn't say the words "torque monster" in a post, so we can fly under the radar.
