If you REALLY want something different and super cool use the 292 and put fuel injection on it. That might even solve it's well known thirst issue. Maybe a Jeep or F^*d I-6 injection setup. OR>>>>>> get a new GM OHC straight six from a Blazer or whatever they call them now. Thats the engine I want. 290 hosses right out of the box. Now THATS COOL!
