You're probably right about there with an inline. Assuming you have a 1:1 final drive ratio tranny, you're probably taching at 2900-3100 rpm @ 55mph, depending on tire size. I've been pushing my 292 at 60mph since I've owned it but, I don't dig the gas mileage! On the hunt for a T-5 tranny.
