That is kinda what I suspected. I will install one of the pressure regulators that I have laying around. I already have the intake for the AFB set aside, just waiting for the cash to get a carb. Inspection of the heads I took off last weekend indicates the nice brown color on the valves so I think it only floods while at idle or decelerating.
