Yup, thats how I do it.However, I haven't been able to quiet them down. How much do you turn them after you have taken the lash out? I have used between 1/4-1 full turn. I can hear the darn clatter over the exhaust across the street. I'm hoping my broken rocker arms have been metal fatigue because the engine hadn't been run for 20+ years. The valves arn't stuck. Plz sent any advise on adjustment. Thx.
