I just noticed the bottom of your post states 56, 235. Maybe there is a noise difference due to the fact that you have a full pressure oil system. My 235 is a 51 with low pressure. About as high as it gets is 5-10 psi. 10 when its cold and 5 after heating up. The rockers look well oiled after driving it though. It really makes you wonder how those lifters fill up.
