I may be on the road soon with a 12 hour drive in a 42 1.5 ton chevy 4x4 (no choice in the matter....I'm still trying to get Cloey home from Northern Michigan). In the past I've used inline electric fuel pumps as backups while on the road however, this truck is a 6 volt system. Any ideas?
I'll be taking along spare parts, rotor, coil, water pump, 6v generator and relay (if I can find these). I'll bet blinkers will need to be installed to make this truck road legal.....
Am I nuts?
