The issue is that this is an old GM truck site. All the forum pages with exception to the Greasy Spoon are intended for GM truck related issues.
Cheford - your best bet would be custom frame to tuck the tires under a lowered vehicle. If your going that route, then I would use either a Jag IFS/IRS setup or a T-Bird / Explorer IFS/IRS setup (corvette is way too wide). The 72 frame you are intending on using will most likely have the wheels sticking past the fenders.
