Hello,it's been awhile since I've visited here but was wondering if anyone here has swapped chassies using 67-72 chassie under an early to mid 50's body, and lowered it to the extent that the tires are tucked up into the fenders and had problems with tires rubbing and how did you solve the problem. What back spacing did you use.
As my name implies I'm part chev and part ford. It's a ford f100 panel truck on a 72 chev c10 frame. I'm asking these questions here as the chevy's and fords of those years would likely have the same tracking widths. What I'm trying to figure out is the size of rims and back spacing I'll have to use to get me turning. Thanks for all the quick responses.
John
