tri5, I installed a 2 post Atlas lift, 9000 pound just over a year ago. I don't use it professionally. The least of my worries is having the anchors bust out. I'm not happy with losing a bit of hydraulic fluid every time I lower the lift. It also lowers quite slowly for the last 2 feet, seems to take forever. I do feel quite safe under it, I always have the locking pins in position.
