I don't know cus it's been a hundred years since I've been lucky enough to work on a car up on a lift, but with the triple section telescoping arms on the BendPak couldn't you do the same thing? That is, move the pickup points forward or backward where ever it balanced the best?
I was looking at the Mohawk two post lifts, and those are about the beefiest units I've ever seen. They are some super heavy-duty lifts, and they probably have a beefy price tag attached also.
