I have saw adaptors that work on a 4 post ramp type where the tire is raised off the ramp via the frame or axle. These might of been home made just can't remember. I guess a guy could use jack stands on the frame when working on tires or brake job. I think that I would prefer the chain type over cable type as I just think chani is much stronger. My.02
