The bed had a 1/4 inch diamond plate steel sheet welded in to it. I did not want to cut it out so a wood bed was not possible (tried that...a mess and a disaster) so I treated the bed with Herculiner and had it covered in diamond plate aluminum. It is holding up VERY nicely.

I also replaced the bucket seats with a Teas Designs bench made for the truck. MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE..

Finally, a look at the engine compartment and (sorry, could not resist) a picture of her FIRST trophy. smile
