8thairforce,It does sound like you are getting vapor lock.Make sure your fuel lines are away from the exhaust manifold and heat.It is best to run the lines as close to where the factory ran them as possible.You could also try to insulate the lines with cloth heat wrap like is used on aircraft engines.We used to call it fire hose.Let us know how you make out.
