Rusty I am not sure on the change from 47 to 49? I will look in my cab manual and see if it is mentioned since that book was originally published with the new trucks. All the later trucks I have owned 5-1950's 2-1949's 1-1952 1-1953 2-1954's have been configured like the 49 shown.
