I recently purchased a new door control. All the pictures in catalogs look the same but it looks like to me that the controls are made wrong. The original plate that attaches the control to the door is triangular in shape and the apex of the triangle is at the top. On the new one the triangle plate points down. It looks like it would mount but only with two screws. Has anyone purchased one of these recently and found the same thing or am I not looking at this correctly? Thanks.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
