If you're still smelling gas,be sure to check all your fuel lines,the fuel pump,and any filters you might have on your truck. If it's rich enought to smell that strongly,you'd likely see smoke from the exhaust.I'm guessing you may have a fuel leak somewhere.Also pull your oil dipstick out and sniff the oil-if you smell gas there you might have a leaking diaphragm on your fuel pump filling your crankcase with gas. I hope it's something easy to cure.
