Here's a couple shots of a 51 GMC with a 500 Cadillac that has been trouble free for 25 years and a couple 100,000 miles. (wore out the first--a 472). Not a high winding engine but torque is awesome, speedo needle will make a dead even swing from zero to wherever you want to quit and could pull the tongue off a trailer I think. If you really featherfoot it you can click off 12-13 mpg. (scroll down to blue truck in first 2 pics)
