You might be able to simply shorten the arms for clearance but be aware that will alter the throw of the shift arm inside the cab. I cut mine and tacked in flatbar extensions to reach under the intake but it took several attempts before I found an arm geometry that worked to my satisfaction and then I welded them solid.
