Jason,
The 3-speed shifter rods/arrangement is slightly different in my 1954 truck in comparison to earlier years. Last summer, I put in a Fenton dual intake and, at first, one of the shifter rods rubbed against the intake. After adjusting the rods, the rod no longer rubs.
