| | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,548 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,548 | A 3 ton 16000lb. gvw Canadien built Chevrolet Maple Leaf, will be a 1700 series truck. Canada evidently used a different conversion table to compute the tonage rating of trucks. A 16000lb. gvw U.S. built G.M. truck was considered a 2 ton truck.
