Thanks for your reply. I did check out hte techtips page beforehand. It's useful info, but doesn't tell me what emblems I should be looking to put on the side of the hood, which are missing. Also, I guess there were no 3-tons in the U.S., whereas they were produced in Canada. Plus, the VIN is quite a bit different from the ones outlined on the techtips page. However, I was fascinated by the Jim Carter catalogue. That's amazing! I learned something unbelievable to me there: What makes a Chev. "Maple Leaf" a Maple Leaf is that it has a GMC 228 or 248 cu in engine. I thought I had a 235, but that didn't start until later, leaving the 215. Not that either, apparently. This helps with getting parts; I could've ordered all the wrong stuff if you hadn't shown me that page. Thanks very much! Tim
