Looking at it I figure I can do either one for about $1000. If I were to go T5 it would take me a couple of trannies at a couple hundred apiece last I checked, plus a clutch and other details I've forgotten. I can put together a used GV for about the same money, and have a much stronger setup, plus granny gear. The whole reason I can justify my truck is for it's hauling/towing capabilities.
