I have a T5 HYBRID behind my torque 292 along w/ a corvette clutch. had it made for me by a transmission shop. wink see my photobucket.
camaro guts incased by an S10)/S15/Somona Trumac housing. Trumac made T5's w/ all interchangable parts so it is possible to make a hybrid. In a case where you do have a high HP motor I would not go w/ a T5. I'd only use them for daily driving and small work trucks, no draggin' or heavy towing nono .. only light towing dance
