Twice I bought replacement shoes, cylinder kits, front hardware kits and hoses from
Kanter Auto . Both times for 50 3/4-tons with Huck brakes. I don't know about the drums, sorry. I think the rear drums were the same thru 55-1st. (I had one of them, too.) By 54 the fronts and rears were 12" Bendix on 3/4-tons. I think Denny Graham converted his 50 3600 to front disc. Try a search of that. And a few years ago somebody had a webpage somewhere on the 'net where he documented his procedure for putting front disc on an AD 1-ton panel. I don't know if that is still out there or not.
