And to add to your question, can they put a Heidt's (or any other kind of kit MII front end or 4 link rear) on wrong, yes they can.

If the front crossmember is not at the right angle, the anti-dive will be messed up.
A common problem with the 4 link is improper pinion angle set up.

Both can be welded in place and just be wrong. There is also the ability to mess up the axle centerlines and improperly alter the wheelbase, plus just get it not square or not in the center of the frame (the front crossmember or the rear axle).
