I am also ready to uprade my '47 1 ton to power brakes. Either disk or drum. With the 4-speed crossmember it seems like the Hydrovac booster is the way to go. Replace the Hucks with Bendix, and go to roller bearings, here's a site from another post...
http://www.classicparts.com/products.asp?dept=62 . I also have a sway bar(or something) from a 1/2 ton '48 that could help the '47. I have the whole front end from the 1/2 ton. is there a way to use the 1/2 ton axle, converted to disk, and changed to 8 lug?
