Didn't Corvettes have six speeds and 350s until not too long ago?
I don't know how well a 'Vette tranny will work in a truck, but it will probably mount to the bell housing...
You might want to find one out of a C3 or a [very] early C4, if you give it a try. Anything newer will have too much electrical BS to mess with.
