that 'original post' appears to be missing George, but I can 2nd that a universal sender can be fit to any rectangular tank [have one now for a new custom tank for daBus], and they can be obtained from most FLAPS, just make sure it's 30 ohms .... also, using the rotten origial sender on my 57 panel as a pattern, modifying the pickup tube and float arm on a repro pickup unit worked fine, don't see why it couldn't be done for an AD
