A little update on the gas tanks from JC. I spoke with Jim at the Turlock swapmeet this weekend and he confirmed that he is in the process of having the gas tanks made for the 47/8 pickups and the 47/55 Panels/Suburban/Canopy Express. He does not have a date when he will have them, but he is through the process of getting them made. It is not in the catalog at this time.
He also had the rear window spring clips made for the 1947/53 suburban. These are the clips that release the sliding windows (4) and are mounted to the body. These are not yet listed in the catalog either. The 54/5 clips are not being made at this time and I doubt that he will have them made.
The next question in this scenario is what about the fuel sending units. Will they be making a repop for thee tanks????
