Tim, the clips that we are referring to, are the spring clips that attach to the body and prevent the windows from sliding on their own. The 1947/53? are chrome, not stainless. The 54/5 clips are painted and textured. I was not aware that there are three clips, one for the 53 only.
I was also unaware that there were different sliding handles. I may have seen two types, but I can't confirm that. I brought my camera up to take some pictures, but have been busy installing a three phase converter in the new shop. I will take some tomorrow, I hope.
